Base camp
Located in the heart of the Berges Family Park in Donnacona, our base camp combines accessibility , nature and quality infrastructure :
- 30 minutes from Quebec City
- Everything you need to comfortably accommodate large groups : pavilion and kiosk for hire

Founded by Alex Dubreuil, an international circus performer and experienced outdoor guide, Rivière Concept was born from a deep passion for rivers and a desire to share their magic.
It all started back in 2011, when an improvised descent of the Jacques-Cartier River ended with a helicopter evacuation. That turning point marked the beginning of a personal mission — to turn a mistake into a purpose.
Ten years later, in the midst of the pandemic, Alex founded Rivière Concept with a vision to reinvent river adventures through a modern, human, and safety-focused approach.
From the Matawin to the Batiscan, through the Mékinac and the St. Maurice, Rivière Concept explored some of Québec’s most beautiful rivers before finally settling on the Jacques-Cartier, between Pont-Rouge and Donnacona, in 2023.
Today, the company is recognized for its guided inflatable kayak and family rafting trips, blending adventure, safety, and a deep connection to nature.
